Martin Coulter is a Yorkshireman, and was educated in Scotland. He holds a first class honours degree, and qualified as a chartered management accountant with Unilever, working in London and New York.

Based in Yorkshire, Martin's IFA practice provides financial advice to trustees, wealthy clients, and other private client practitioners. He is a Trust & Estate Practitioner and a Chartered Financial Planner. The latter is the highest level of qualification open to independent financial advisers (IFAs).

Martin has written over 50 articles for publication in professional journals on matters relating to trusts, tax, finance advice, and the Financial Services Authority (FSA). He has many years of experience presenting training courses, both in-house and on the open lecture circuit, for the law society and for a variety of law and accountancy training groups.
